Today we kicked off a unique learning experience in 6th grade.  We are beginning a unit on starting a business. It is called Let's TACO 'bout starting a business
Day 1: Students brainstormed about what is needed to start a business.  We were impressed with their knowledge and thought on this!  They developed a very extensive list.  Students were asked to imagine running their own business, a food truck...a Taco truck to be exact.  They named their businesses, created a logo and slogan and finalized the design of their truck.  Some students began researching information about permits/licenses needed when owning your own business.  Today was a very busy and productive day in 6th grade!  We are looking forward to continuing our project tomorrow.
